Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Nexus Sentry Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on paysentry.uk and within the PaySentry service. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, keep you signed in, remember your choices, and — with your consent — help us understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels; in this policy we call them all "cookies".
2. The types of cookies we use
We group cookies into categories:
a) Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
These are essential for the Service to work — for example to sign you in securely and keep your session safe. The Service cannot function without them, so they do not require consent.
ps_access_token— keeps you securely signed in to your account (session / authentication).ps_role— routes you to the correct area of the Service for your role (session).ps_org_type— shows the correct features for your organisation type (session).ps_admin_token— secure sign-in for administrator sessions (session / authentication).ps_cookie_consent— remembers your cookie preferences (consent).
b) Analytics cookies (with your consent)
These help us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. They are only set after you give consent through our cookie banner.
- Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) — measures website usage and performance.
- Microsoft Clarity — helps us understand how visitors interact with pages.
c) Functional / third-party cookies
Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies — for example our payment provider when you manage billing. These are used to deliver the specific feature you request.
The exact cookie names and lifetimes set by third parties (Google, Microsoft, our payment provider) are controlled by those providers and may change; see their own cookie/privacy notices for details.
3. Your consent and Google Consent Mode
When you first visit our website you'll see a cookie banner. Strictly-necessary cookies are always active; analytics and other non-essential cookies are only set if you consent.
We use Google Consent Mode (v2): your choice in the
banner is passed to Google's tags, so that analytics tags respect your
consent and do not track you unless you've agreed. We keep a record of
your consent choice (ps_cookie_consent).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings on our website.
4. How to control cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Use our cookie banner / settings to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies (note: blocking strictly-necessary cookies will stop parts of the Service working).
- Use browser privacy features or add-ons.
For more on managing cookies, see https://www.aboutcookies.org or your browser's help pages.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
